In our “victory” garden we grow about 75 varieties of heritage vegetables and seeds that are adapted to our climate. We grow everything from artichokes to watermelons and have a wide selection of fall and overwintering crops such as mangels, beets, cabbage, Swedes, turnips, swiss chard and overwintering cauliflower.   6. As an “old-time” seed collector, I can’t wait to see your seed list next season! Even though I am pushing 70, I get as excited as a kid in a candy store when I hear of another source of heritage seeds! Keep up the great work of growing and saving the good old varieties (the ones with great taste!) so the next generation can have them too!
